JaLi (Jamie T. Kennell) was born in Columbus, GA and raised in Phenix City, AL. He has been with a couple of groups, "Uncut" who disbanded after about a year and he then was signed to Interscope and joined with Red-Dirt in 2007.
His solo debut release came in 2008 with a single "Come Ova". Since then he has had sporadic releases with three singles coming in 2013, 2017 and 2019, but this year he has released three singles. The latest "Kountry Love" was delivered on 12 Aug 2021 which, for me, is easily his best to date, although "Holdin U" from 2013 is quite good and "Come Ova" is not bad either. Southern soul lovers may appreciate his other releases.
He has an album called "Heart Felt" which only seems to be available on BandCamp. released in 2011.
