Cheyenne Elliott may be a new name but she is the
daughter of David Elliott who in turn is the son of
Dionne Warwick
(who married drummer William Elliott) making her the granddaughter and
cousin (Whitney Houston) of legends (and that's not including
other family members Dee Dee Warwick and Cissy Houston) so 'no
pressure'!
She featured on her gran's 2008 album "My Friends & Me" aged 8 on a
track "Love Will Find A Way". She also appeared in a US talent show "The
Four" in 2018.
Her first' proper' release "Sugarcane" came out today (17 Aug 2021). Big shoes to fill, but her voice has such clarity. I'm not sure about the
song, but her delivery is excellent.
