Vince Broomfield [2024] - I'm Falling to Pieces [Self Released]

Veteran, Miami-based, artist Vince Broomfield released his new single, "I'm Falling To Pieces", last week.

It's a departure from his normal dance oriented tunes and we have to say that we feel its his best for a while. A super soulful and atmospheric ballad / stepper that we like very much that just builds and builds and gets even better with each listen. A timeless future classic that comes highly recommended.

As you will already know, saxophonist Vince is a member of the talented Broomfield family and siblings include Eugene Wilde and Dee Dee Wilde who had much success in the 80s/90s.

Vince Broomfield [2023] - Gotta Live Your Life [Self Released]

Vince Broomfield has released what he states is "my most important song "GOTTA LIVE YOUR LIFE", which I have been waiting for the perfect time in the summer to release. It's a uptempo, uplifting song inspired, written, and dedicated to my Dad, my brother Al, and his son Aaron (my nephew) who all suddenly passed away, and so it taught me the importance of living life to the limit and enjoying each and  everyday as tomorrow is just not promised, I hope you like it and can relate to the message".

Vince, if you didn't already know, is a veteran of the soul scene. He was a member of the talented Broomfield family from the age of 15 from the late 70s playing saxophone with Broomfield Corporate Jam and  LaVoyage and performed using the name Audio.

His brother, Ronald Eugene Broomfield, went on to have a successful solo career as Eugene Wilde along with sister Diane as Dee Dee Wilde in the 80s and 90s.

Vince Broomfield [2022] - Elevations [Self Released] (Full EP)

Veteran of the talented Broomfield family (Broomfield Corporate Jam, LaVoyage and who performed using the name Audio) Vince Broomfield has a four track EP "Elevations" forthcoming which includes his last single "Go Live The Fun Life" released as a single in June 2022.

He lives in Florida and I'm sure the song "Everything's Still Copacetic" must have been written before Hurricane Ian struck this week but thankfully we are told that he is safe. Other tracks included "I Want You So Bad" and "Go Light It Up" and on balance I think my pick of the EP would be "I Want You So Bad".
