The Shindellas [2023] - Think Of Me [Weirdo Workshop]

The latest and fourth single pre-released from the forthcoming sophomore album, "Shindo", by The Shindellas is "Think Of Me" . It's a more mellow song to the previous upbeat three with Stacy Johnson taking lead vocals. Thus far, no glossy video is available like for the previous three which were posted with the last single "Ooh La La".

The album is due on 20 Oct, so we may well be treated to another single before then.

The Shindellas [2023] - Ooh La La [Weirdo Workshop]

The latest single to be drip fed from the consistent Shindella's forthcoming sophomore album "Shindo" (due on 20 Oct)  is "Ooh La La",released yesterday. Once again there's a glossy music video in a barbeque pool party setting.

The new album follows their Sep 2021 debut album "Hits That Stick Like Grits". 

The Nashville trio, Kasi Jones, Stacy Johnson and Tamara Chauniece, are under the wing of Weirdo Workshop label owners Charles Harmon and Claude Kelly, the pair otherwise known as artists Louis York who also have a new single out today "Alone Alot" feat. Anthony Hamilton. 

Tamara Chauniece takes lead on this song. She was a finalist in The Voice season 5 in 2013, mentored by CeeLo Green, and made it to the live playoffs.

The Shindellas [2023] - Juicy [Weirdo Workshop]

The last single from The Shindellas, "Last Night Was Good for My Soul" in March, went down well in some quarters. It transpires that is is from a forthcoming sophomore album "Shindo" due on 20 Oct.

The second single from it (so far), "Juicy", has been released on Friday and has been paired with their last single. Once you get past the intro, it turns into quite a nice little groove.

In case you missed "Last Night Was Good for My Soul" (many seemed to) we've include the music video for it which wasn't released until June. Thy also have a rather 'fruity' lyric video for the latest single!

The Shindellas' lovely harmonies are delivered by Kasi Jones, Stacy Johnson and Tamara Chauniece from Nashville who made their entrance in 2017 and released a debut album "Hits That Stick Like Grits" in Sep 2021. 

They are under the wings of Weirdo Workshop label owners Charles Harmon and Claude Kelly, the pair otherwise known as artists Louis York.

The Shindellas [2023] - Last Night Was Good for My Soul [Weirdo Workshop] MUSIC VIDEO

We hadn't heard anything from The Shindellas for almost a year since "BBQs & Body Rolls Intro" in May '22 which was an introduction single to a forthcoming EP "BBQs & Body Rolls" which still hasn't arrived yet.

We posted their latest single "Last Night Was Good for My Soul" at the end of March, which was once again written by Weirdo Workshop label owners Charles Harmon and Claude Kelly, the pair otherwise known as Louis York. 

On 1 Jun they released a music video for the song so let's hope that it now gets a bit more attention, as it seemed to pass many by but it's a 'banger'! If you watch carefully, Harmon & Kelly both feature in the video at various points.
