Lobela Feat. MoreSoul [2021] - Healing [Glissando Music]

Having released a Christmas album which was posted last week, sounding very similar to Donny Hathaway on some tracks, MoreSoul is featured on this new single "Healing" released today by fellow South African musician Lobela (aka Tseke Malatji). It's Lobela second single following his debut "Back To Love" in June.

It has a bit of a soulful house vibe.

MoreSoul [2021] - The MoreSoul Christmas Box Experience Project!!! [Self Released] (Full Album)

I've tried to steer clear of posting loads of Christmas related material so far but I've just been notified of the forthcoming release of this one from MoreSoul on 13 Dec 2021 which is very jazzy and soulful and reminds me of the great Donny Hathaway in places.

I've been impressed by MoreSoul since hearing his debut album "Puzzles Of Life" last year and I think nearly everything he's released since has been posted on the blog. Having just had a quick look, it would appear that much of his material is no longer available on the major DSPs but most of it is available now on Bandcamp and is cheaper i.e. only $7 for his debut album, barely a fiver!

MoreSoul [2021] - Papa [Self Released] (Full EP)

South African artist MoreSoul (aka Teboga Serake) is another relatively new artist who I came across last year from his debut album "Puzzles Of Life" which was one of my albums of the year. He's released a new seven track EP "Papa" on 12 Jul 2021 which follows from his last EP titled "Mama" released in May.

It's a pretty solid EP throughout and, as I've mentioned on his previous posts, he sounds very similar to Stevie Wonder on some tracks, which can't be a bad thing! If you've not heard his music before I recommend checking him out (links above to previous material) as he is building quite a portfolio of self-written songs.

MoreSoul [2021] - Mama EP [Self Released] (Full EP)

A new seven track EP from South African artist MoreSoul (Tebogo Serake) who released a single 'Re United' on Valentines day which followed up his excellent album 'Puzzles Of Life' released last Oct. He also released a single on 15 Apr ('Afrika Borwa') which I didn't post as it's a bit of a hip-hop departure.

Thankfully he's back to his mellower side with all seven tracks. I haven't decided which I like best yet as they are all fairly similar. It will need another few listens, but on first listen, if pushed, I'd plump for the last track 'When You Need Me'.

MoreSoul is reminiscent of Stevie Wonder on some of the tracks. A nice set and, probably, the best EP I've heard this week.
