Kevin Ross [2022] - Look My Way [Art Society Music Group]

Washington, D.C. born and Berklee College of  Music graduate Kevin Ross releases his latest single "Look My Way" today. I wasn't too sure at first but I think it's one that grows on you. It's one of those contemporary songs, yet with a bit of a retro feel.

He launched his career in 2016 and has three albums to his name: The Awakening [2017], Drive 2 [2021] and Audacity Vol. 1-2 [2020] and has amassed over 100m streams.

Eric Roberson Feat. Anthony Hamilton, Raheem DeVaughn & Kevin Ross [2021] - Lessons (Remix) [Self Released]

It's London bus time again ... a remix of one of my favourite tunes of the year gets serviced to me this morning in the form of Eugene Cole posted earlier today, and then comes another! This time from not just one of the best male indie soul artists around but four.  Eric Roberson recruits the services of not only Anthony Hamilton, but also Raheem DeVaughn & Kevin Ross on a remix of  the wonderful "Lessons" released tomorrow (22 Oct 2021).

I'll also take the opportunity of posting a live video recorded recently in August at the City Winery, Chicago, by Jackie Roberson, his wife?. If you do nothing else, please skip to 4:20 and listen how 'brutal' the music business can be!

Kevin Ross [2021] - Sweet Release [Arts Society Music Group]

Kevin Ross released his latest single titled "Sweet Release" today (15 Oct 2021). It's his first since "Looking For Love" in July. It leans a bit more towards R&B than his last.

Presumably this will feature on his forthcoming album "Drive 2" due later this year.

Kevin Ross [2021] - Looking For Love [Art Society Music Group]

A track featured on Global Soul's New Music Hour last week was "Looking For Love" by Kevin Ross (released 23 Jul 2021) from Washington D.C. who is another from the Berklee College of Music alumni.  He released his debut album "The Awakening" in 2017. The album spawned a Billboard Adult R&B Chart #1 with "Long Song Away" (live video performance below) and earned him several award nominations.

I found a few videos of him performing live at Pizza Express (Holburn) London 11 Oct 2019. I've posted a couple but there are a few others on Soul Crystal YT channel.

He is a highly regarded artist with endorsements on the Pizza Express site from Maxwell, Trey Songz and Ne-Yo and, having viewed his live performances, he is definitely one to watch.

He is currently working on a new album "Drive 2" due later this year.
