Jesse Graham [2022] - Stay in (Radio Edit) [KINFOLKTV]

Following the post of a new digital release of Jesse Graham's "Think Of My Baby", another song "Stay In"was released on the same day (3 Jul 2022). A video for the song premiered on YouTube on 23 Jan 2020 with the title "Stay In Tonight" but I think this is it's first official release of it.

Jesse Graham [2022 ] - Think Of My Baby [KINFOLKTV]

I was pleasantly surprised when I came a cross this digital issue of a song put out on 7" vinyl by Izipho Soul in 2019 by Jesse Graham. On vinyl it was titled "(When I) Think Of My Baby" but on this new release (which I assume is the same mix as the vinyl?) it's simply "Think Of My Baby".

It originally appeared on Graham's 1994 album "Soul Music" on Ichiban. Izipho paired it with a re-edit of "Love Talk" from the same album.

It was released on 3 Jul 2022 along with another track, which I think is a new song, "Stay In" which will be posted separately.

Jesse Graham [1994] - (When I) Think Of My Baby [Ichiban #ICH1175-2 / Izipho Soul #ZP34]

Another one that has recently seen it's first 45 release on Izipho Soul is Jesse Graham. Originally released on his 'Soul Music' album (CD and cassette only) back in 1994.

A lovely and smooth Modern Soul stepper. I feel sorry for some Northern Soul punters who seem to think that soul ended on 31st Dec 1969 as they are missing out on gems like this!

Two singles were released from the album Mr. Mailman / Do Me Baby in 1994 followed by Jodi / I Lied in 1996.  He also released another album on Big Bidness 'Stop The Rain c 1998 from which Lovers Before Friends / Stop The Rain was released as a single in 1998.

He also released another album in 2013 'Sexy Ladies' - not listed on Discogs.

On the B side is Love Talk also taken from the album. Here's the original followed by the Izipho Soul 45 has a re-edit.
