Joe Leavy's long awaited, and highly anticipated, sophomore album "Soul On Fire" is available to pre-order from his website on CD for release on Friday (7 Jul).
Samples for each track are now available on the website, so get yourself over there and give them a listen and order the CD. Lossless sound files (.wav) will be available to download as soon as you place an order for the CD.
It's a solid set of eleven tracks that Joe has been working on for several years and is a journey through his live, loves and losses over the past decade.
The opening track, the superb "Inside You", sets the scene which was a huge #1 soul chart hit in the UK in 2020. Joe has been drip feeding singles from the album, "Love Me To My Soul" (Mar '22), "Let It Go" (Oct '22) and "Do It Again" (May '23) to demonstrate the strength of the album.
There is with something for everyone, ballads ("Love All The Hurt Away" / "Words"), steppers ("Find A Way To Love") nodders ("Up A Notch"), upbeat dancers ("Give It Right" / "Soul On Fire") and downright soulful ("Too Much Love") .. just buy it as you won't be disappointed as there are no fillers and there aren't many albums you can say that about!
Joe has dedicated the album to his nephew Kevin E Leavy who passed on 19 Jun '23.
