As alluded to when I posted the single "Next Evening" a few days ago, W3sst's (Westley Martin from Paris, TX) new album "Lessons Learned" is released today (14 Nov 2021) .
I first came across him in April with the release of his last album "Runnin'" which was excellent with the killer track "Midnight". He also released three albums in 2020.
The new album appears to be a sort of concept
album with interlude type tracks interjected between each track but there
are two killers, the single "Next Evening" and "Trash Or Treasure" both contemporary deep soul cuts. "Rose" and "Mistakes" are also great tunes.
On the strength of his last two albums W3sst is certainly an artist to
watch.
