Robert Brown is a relatively new contemporary gospel artist
who released a debut album "One God One Love" on 29 Oct 2021. With a name like his I'm not able to find a great deal
of information as he hasn't provided a Spotify profile or any social media
links, but it would seem that he is from Texas and prior to the album he's
only released three singles since his first single in 2018.
Two of the singles, his first, "New Way Of Living" (2018) and the
funky "Highly Favored" from Jan. this year are included on the album,
but oddly his latest single, the jazz flavoured "Summer Bride", released
in Jun 2021 is not included, perhaps as it's not gospel
influenced?
I was alerted to several tracks on the album by my 'partner in crime' Roger 'Soulsorts' Williams who in turn was tipped on it by Starpoint "Select Soul"
show presenter Paul Goldsmith, so respect to both. It seems to have gone
under the radar in the main, possibly as it's in the gospel and not
R&B listings on Amazon?
The choice cuts are "Hold Your Head Up" which is the killer track, "He Is", "Early Morning Talk" and "Solo Levanate".
