Hot on the heels of her last single released last week, "Alone" (18 Aug), and another released on 4 Aug, "Unspoken", neither of which we got around to posting, Pittsburgh's Sierra Sellers has another single out today, "Better" (25 Aug). We think the latest is the 'better' of the three but will post all three.

Sierra Sellers [2023] - Le Freak [Self Released]

It's been almost a year since we last featured music from Pittsburgh's Sierra Sellers with her single "Sentimental" feat.WesWill.

She's released her fourth since then and her second of 2023 which have both been a slight departure in style from her earlier material with both the new single "Le Freak" and her last "Come Thru" being a bit more uptempo dance oriented tunes.

Sierra Sellers Feat. WesWill [2022] - Sentimental [Self Released]

The last three singles from Sierra Sellers have all been posted here "Accidents" (Nov 2021), "Need You Bad" (Jul 2021) and "Lonely Feels" (Mar 2021). 

Sadly, for me, the latest single "Sentimental", released yesterday, doesn't quite live up to the promise of her previous releases, but then that's probably down to my aversion to rap as she's enlisted the help of WesWill for the, now obligatory, 20 rap section and it has a bit of broken beats feel about it.

Sierra Sellers [2021] - Need You Bad [Self Released]

There have been some great tunes released this week and here's another from Sierra Sellers "Need You Bad" which will definitely feature in the week's "The Dirty Dozen" tomorrow (which may have to be extended such is the wealth of good music released this week).

Sierra Sellers is yet another artist from Pittsburgh, I think that's the third artists I've posted from there today! Her last single "Lonely Feels" was also very good and was featured here the first week of April. She debuted in 2017 with a self-tiled EP and released another EP "Orphelia" in 2020.
