RubyGld Smoke [2024] - I Feel A Way [Quiet Kingdom Media Group]

Chicago husband and wife duo Terrence (T.L.) Williams and  Dani (Dandria) Jo Williams go by the name RubyGld Smoke and released a debut album "Revolutionary Love" in Nov '20. We were introduced to their music via the follow up "Our Ancestors' Wildest Dreams" a year later in Nov '21.

They released a third album "No Filter" in Jul '22, which passed us by, and since then another two singles, the latest being "I Feel A Way".

The couple met in 2014 and T.L. embarked on a solo career with Dani Jo contributing behind the scenes to his six solo albums before they felt that they had something to offer as a duo.

RubyGld Smoke [2023] - Stress You Out [Quiet Kingdom Recordings]

A hangover from last Friday's releases that we didn't get around to posting. The latest single from RubyGld Smoke is "Stress You Out" released on 9 Mar '23. Since then they have published a music video for the song (12 Mar).

It is another which seems to be following a trend of having a 'rock' guitar solo midway which is off-putting to many soulies, and probably why we didn't post it last week, but you can be the judge.

RubyGld Smoke [2021] - Our Ancestors' Wildest Dreams [Quiet Kingdom Recordings] (Full Album)

RubyGld Smoke are a  husband and wife duo Terrence (T.L.) Williams and  Dani (Dandria) Jo Williams from Chicago. They released their sophomore album on Friday (5 Nov 2021)  "Our Ancestors' Wildest Dreams" which follows "Revolutionary Love" released in Nov 2020.

The two best tracks are the last single "Somebody Wants Your Love" (released 18 Jun 2021) and the album's first track "Can't Sleep" (tipped by Paul Regan), a lot of the other material is very pop oriented.
