MS1 Project feat. Daneik Ashley [2024] - Passion [H&S Records]

As Bobby Caldwell sang, 'Down For The Third Time' as the new single from MS1 Project has already been posted from promo, the Bandcamp release last Friday and again today as it is now on general release on all DSPs, so here's a reminder.

The song, "Passion", was written and produced by MS1 Project's Mike & George Harrison with Terrell 'Bishop' Beane and features Daneik Ashley from New York and Artem Jazz on sax.

It's one of the best new releases of recent weeks and has been around on promo for a couple of weeks, so the big surprise is that it's not on the UK Soul Chart yet, especially as it is being promoted by DSG!

The Harrison Brothers, Mike 'DJ Blue' and George 'GEO', under their MS1 Project moniker, have released their latest offering "Passion" featuring New York vocalist Daneik Ashley on Bandcamp today. It will be available on the main platforms next Friday (15 Mar)

It's a lovely mid-tempo soul jazz song (perhaps their best yet?) which Ms Ashley's sensuous vocals floats over beautifully. 

The song was written and produced by the Harrisons with contributions from their long time collaborator Terrell 'Bishop' Beane and Artem Jazz providing the cool saxophone sections.

MS1 Project feat. LaVoyce [2023] - The Summer Song [Self Released]

Brothers George 'GEO' Harrison and Mike 'DJ Blue' Harrison, otherwise known as MS1 Project, are back with a reworking of their 2016 debut single "The Summer Song". 

It features the vocals of Houston/Dallas songstress Demi ‘LaVoyce’ Hairston who released a single "Mad At Me" on the same day we posted a promo for this release (11 Jul). We also posted LaVoyce's single so it's encouraging that it is currently #18 on the Amazon UK Hot New Releases only three days later.

The hip-hop/R&B fused single is available on Bandcamp today and will be on the main DSPs tomorrow (15 Jul). The riff at the intro reminds us a tad of TLC "Creep"?

Their forthcoming album "Remedy 4 The Mind Part 2" is due this summer which follows "Remedy 4 The Mind Part 1" from Oct '21.

MS1 Project Feat. SETA - Feel It (Main Mix) [H&S Records]

The follow up single to "Set It Off" from MS1 Project is "Feel It" due out on Bandcamp on 24 Mar '23 with a wider release the following week on 31 Mar.

It's a double header of mixes, the Main Mix & the MS1 Bongo Mix and features SETA on vocals with additional vocals by Michael Washington. The mid tempo funky groove has a dominant bass riff from George 'GEO' Harrison and percussive impetus from his brother Mike 'DJ Blue' Harrison who are essentially MS1 Project. 

It will be the second single from the forthcoming album "Remedy 4 The Mind Part 2" due this summer which follows "Remedy 4 The Mind Part 1" from Oct '21.
