Dwayne Scivally's 2016 album, a third album "Dwayne Scivally III"
composed, arranged and produced by Paris' Thomas Gee is available on
CD.

At the end of last year Dwayne Scivally released his
second, Thomas Gee produced, album "Soul Chapter II". Both albums ("Soul Of Nashville" and "Soul Chapter II") were initially only available on vinyl but in March this year they were
combined on a CD release.
Izipho Soul selected a track from each ("Let Me So" / "Is It Me")
for 7" vinyl release in April. They have now chosen two tracks ("Point Of No Return" and "So Good") from his first album "Stay Until the Morning" which was released in 2016
and is now as rare as hen's teeth.
The limited edition single is available to pre-order from Izipho Soul for release on Friday (22 Sep). An essential purchase (if you don't own the album) as just try finding the album on the interweb!
In addition, Thomas Gee has announced a third album he has arranged and produced for Dwayne which will be available soon on CD. We are awaiting further details and will post in due course.

Dwayne Schivally is a name not far from the lips of UK rare
soul connoisseurs in the last few years with two excellent, vinyl only,
albums ("Soul Of Nashville" (2021) and "Soul Chapter II" (2022)) produced and released by Paris producer Thomas Gee.
To satisfy demand both album were
released on CD last month.
The ever diligent Izipho Soul has licensed a track from each album for
one of two new releases. It leads with "Let Me So" from "Soul Chapter II" with "Is It Me" taken from "Soul of Nashville"
US Air Force veteran, (Sgt) Dwayne Scivally is from Nashville, TN, born 29 Sep 1960. He started singing in the
church choir aged ten. He also played instruments such as the drums,
clarinet and saxophone.
Dwayne started singing professionally in 2011 and released his debut
album "Stay Until The Morning" in 2016 for Tate Music Group. It's on Spotify but unfortunately the tracks are greyed out, however, a couple
of tracks are available on this Soundcloud channel (along with one that appears to be unreleased). One of
the tracks from the album, "The Point of No Return", was rated #4 by respected UK rare soul DJ Brian Goucherin the UK Vibe magazine for best song of the year (he also included "Is It Me" from "Soul of Nashville" in last year's selections).

One of my pet hates are those who buy music simply to sell on for a
profit! How is it that Dwayne Scivally's "Soul Chapter II" album, released
only a few months ago and sold out quickly, is available for sale on
Discogs for double the price? Not only does it deprive other genuine
buyers from purchasing the album at face value, it is just blatant
exploitation and profiteering and the music's producers don't receive a penny from the spiv's profiteering. They will of course justify it as, market forces, supply & demand and all that BS, but why should they gain more than the music's producers by exploiting their music?
Anyway, good old Thomas G. has decided to release both Dwayne Scivally
albums (Soul Of Nashville and Soul Chapter II) on CD which may thwart the
spivs/profiteers. Although some just have to have it on vinyl so they will have to pay the exorbitant asking prices for it if they are that way inclined paying the current
asking price of €60 for a vinyl copy rather than getting both albums
for £15 on CD!
Thomas G. tells us that the CD is exclusively available in the UK
from

by Thomas Gee. Demand is rising for it and it's almost sure to sell
out, in fact I've just seen one listed on
ebay
selling for almost twice the face value, so if you want this grab it
at face value (£24) from reputable dealers such as
Simply Soul (who may be the only UK dealer who has copies at present and is

Obviously, as it is vinyl only, no sound files are available

It has not been, and we have been informed that there are no plans

it on vinyl while you can.
