NNAVY & Ben L'Oncle Soul [2023] - Trash [Self Released]

The best new release found so far today from NNAVY & Ben L'Oncle Soul with a single called "Trash".

NNAVY appeared here a couple of times in 2021 and released a single a few weeks back which we swerved. She is originally from Burundi (East Africa) now living in Lausanne, Switzerland and has now released around eight singles, an EP ("in good company") and an album "Blue", all since 2020.

Her last single "Come And Get It" (24 Mar '23) was her first since her EP in Aug '21.

Ben L'Oncle Soul [2023] - Is It You? [Enchanté] (Full Album)

It's almost three years since we posted any material by Frenchman Ben L'Oncle Soul (aka Benjamin Duterde from Tour). He delivered his latest album "Is It You?" on Friday (17 Feb '23). It's a mellow / laid back affair with all songs in a similar vein with nothing in particular jumping out for this listener.

It includes his last single "A Rose..." and a video has been produced for the title track.

The album is available to pre-order on vinyl from his website for delivery from 12 May '23.

Ben L'Oncle Soul [2020] - Next To You Feat. Yuna [Decca]

One of the best new tracks I've heard this year, already released as a single but not made a dent on any charts as yet.

Ben L'Oncle Soul [2020] - The Best [Decca]

Mellow, laid back neo soul stepper.

You can explore the rest of the album on YouTube, but none of the other tracks struck a chord with me.
