A song that was drawn to our attention yesterday when a blog visitor sent
a clip from a radio show in which it was unannounced.
We were asked if we knew what it was and it turned out to be "Sunset Love" from an album "Lovin'truth" released at the end of April by Maeva Borzakian.
The album is a bit of a mixed bag. We had short listed it but erred
against posting but we'll post in full for you to decide as we may have been too hasty
skimming through it as the highlighted track ("Sunset Love") is pretty good, along with "Desert Rose" and "Feel The Love" listening again.
Maeva was lives and was brought up in Paris in a family of jazz musicians
and has been singing for 20 years.
In 2019 she joined Alain Mion's group Cortex not long after releasing her
debut EP "Day By Day" in 2017 which she wrote with Geyster), The title track of which is very nice so we'll include a video of it below to save you
hunting for it. Her current album is her first.
