Terrell Carter [2023] - Be Alone [Problem Child Music]

Yesterday we posted a debut album from Terrill Carter and today a single from earlier in the week from Terrell Carter.

Terrell Carter is now predominantly an actor but has been releasing music since 2004 with a debut album "The Story". His latest single, a deep gospel style ballad, "Be Alone" was released on 13 Feb '23.

Terrell was born and raised in Buffalo, NY, but now resides in L.A. After being singed by Quincy Jones as a writer/artist and has worked with superstars including Patti LaBelle, Beyoncé, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, and Christina Aguilera. In 2011 he was a contestant on season 8 of The X Factor making it through his first audition with a rendition of Stevie's "A Ribbon In The Sky" but didn't make it to the live shows (a very short clip included below)..

In March 2020 he published a book "Problem Child" which relates to his own childhood. He was born to an eleven year old special needs mother who was raped and he was the product! You can hear an interview about his experience on The Tammi Mac Show.
