Relatively new R&B artist Brandon J. Harris from Detroit, who goes by the name B. Jareal, released his second single "Understood the Assignment" on 10 Feb '23. It follows his debut "My Bae Bae (Keep Loving Me)" in July '202 after which he released a full album "No Holds Barred" the following moth. The latest single appears to be his only release since.
I have to admit that it took a few listens to warm to it owing to my personal adversity to R&B so give it a chance as it gets deeper as the song progresses.
