thuy (pronounced twee) is from the San Francisco Bay Area (now based in
L.A.) of Vietnamese heritage who debuted in Oct. 2015 with a single "Ain't No Me".
She released her debut album "I Hope U See This" in Oct 2021 and followed it in May 2022 with a Deluxe edition which contained five additional tracks including a remix of one of
the best tracks "Universe" (featured in The Dirty Dozen in Nov 2021 (week 46)).
Since then she released a single, "playing tricks", in August which is included on her new EP/album "girls like me don't cry" released yesterday (6 Oct 2022).
Apart from "playing tricks", for me, the two top tracks are the first and
last i.e. "u should feel special" and the title track "girls like me don't cry" and perhaps "trust".
