Jacob Banks is a Nigerian born singer/songwriter from Birmingham (UK) who
debuted in 2013 with an album "The Monologue" which gained him much acclaim and he subsequently
supported Emeli Sandé, Sam Smith and Alicia Keys on UK
tours.
Hr released a gospel sounding single "By Design (Evel Knievel)" on 10 Jun 2022 is from his then forthcoming, fifth, album "Lies About The War" which was released yesterday (26 Aug 2022). "Bang" was released as a single the day before the album release and "Just When I Thought" in March.
He has a very original voice which reminds me very much of UK's Samm
Henshaw and Gabriels.
