The latest single from Oxfordshire's Abi Farrell, "Nobody Else", is a departure from her last stomping release "Stepping Out Of Your Shadow" a little more akin to her one before, which was also on the B side of the
vinyl release, "Don't Follow Me".
For the new single, a favourite in her love performances, Abi has once
again teamed up with producer Mitch Ayling (The Milk) to create a love
song on which she showcases a more gentle touch with an understated
arrangement and production.
Abi released a debut EP, "The Only Way I Learn", in Nov 2019. She met Big AC supremo Nick Corbin by chance at an East London jam
session in Feb 2020 which ignited a songwriting partnership that would
develop fruitfully over lockdown and saw Abi becoming part of the Big AC
Records family.
Her debut Big AC single, "I Will See You Through" (also released on vinyl along with "Empowered"), was embraced by the UK underground scene and gained rave reviews from
the likes of Craig Charles (BBB 6 Music), Robert Elms (BBC Radio
London) and Blues & Soul magazine.
Abi has been very active on the live scene supporting Izo Fitzroy last
October and a headline show at Pizza Express (London), and has several
gigs coming up between now and the end of the year as part of the Big AC
Soul Revue which includes Carmy Love, Emma Noble and Nick
Corbin:
