A bit of nostalgia for a Sunday. "Georgia On My Mind" is a song written and recorded by Hoagy Carmichael in 1930 and a hit by
the late great Ray Charles in 1960 which is now regarded as the definitive
version. There must have been at least 1,000 versions of it
(SecondHandSongs lists 861) .
It is the vehicle for a debut single by
John Coleman released on Friday (3 Jun 2021) and a very good
job he does on it!
There is no information on the artist and with a name like his I thought it would be fruitless attempting to find any, but there is a live video of him performing this on YouTube where he called out his Instagram address. He is a singer/songwriter/actor/model from L.A.
