I think this may be another where the DSP release date may be incorrect
as it's stating 29 Apr 2022 when this was distributed on promo in the
first week of May, which I didn't get around to posting, but it certainly wasn't listed on DSP's then.
It's yet another version of the Nat King Cole standard "Nature Boy" first
recorded in 1948 and also done by many (SecondHandSongs
lists 627 versions so there will probably be even more than that!) but George
Benson's 1977 version is probably the best know to soulies.
Full Flava have also released it before in 2003 on their
"Colour My Soul" CD and it has appeared on multiple compilations since,
but this is a new "Michele Chiavarini Lounge Mix" which I am told will also be included on the Dome 30 Yeas Vol. 2
compilation due out next month.
Full Flava is actually writer/producer Rob Derbyshire who generally recruits (female) vocalists and other artists to write/perform on most of his tracks since 2000.
