The debut Ivy Lo EP "A Love Ride" that was released and then withdrawn on 29 Jan has been reissued
today.
Two singles from it have been pre-released since the withdrawal of the EP
i.e. "Soul Tied" (14 Feb) and "Sip N' Vibe" (4 Mar).
These singles haven't done anything on the UK soul charts and I think
they may have missed the boat as when the EP was originally released it
was generating quite a bit of interest. It remains to be seen whether that
interest can be re-galvanised.
Ivy Lo is the stage name of 19 year old Skylar Corrin Parhms from
Monroe, LA, who began her singing career in 2020 with Southern
University A&M College, Baton Rouge, jazz band.
