Well now that the seasonal festivities are over and the new year
resolutions commence I came across this 'inspirational' video from
Carmichael Musiclover with a track taken off his second album of last
year "Lifeline" which I thought was appropriate for this time of
year.
If you've checked out my 'Best of' lists for 2021 year then you will
already know that I've chosen his album "Slow Motion" as my album of the
year and taken, what I consider, the best, and most soulful track, from it
and made it my track of the year. His first of two albums from 2020 "The Best Thing Yet" was also chosen as 2020's best album. He is quickly
becoming my favourite male artist with his consistently excellent material, all independently produced with corporate bean counters kept well
out of the way and artists left to do what they feel is right!
If you've yet to have the pleasure of appreciating his music I think I'll
post up a compilation of some of his best tracks, which may be a sizable
playlist as most of his albums have between 14 and 17 tracks on them, 108
tracks to choose from his last 7 albums alone. Much of his recent
