"Whisper" is the debut single from Cale Austin (released 3 Dec 2021) who is the nephew of Jeff Guishard percussionist/vocalist with 70s Brit-Funk pioneers Hi-Tension (who co-wrote the song) and Jungle rapper/MC, Stevie Hyper D.
I thought it was perhaps a little 'poppy' on first hearing but it has grown on me a lot after a few hearings, so give it a few listens before judging. He has a rich tone to his voice so would be interesting to hear some more material from him.
