Izipho Soul announces their latest 45 due for release next Friday (3
Sep 2021).
It comes from Detroit's Rena Scott probably most famous
for her, largely uncredited, vocals on Michael Henderson's modern soul
gem "Take Me I'm Yours" from his "In The Night Time" album from 1978. I
did a
profile on Rena Scott
back in Feb after her last Izipho Soul release "Driftin' On A Dream" so
please go there for further info.
"You're So Far Away" is a song Rena has resurrected from her archives and has re-recorded
the vocals for the Nigel Lowis Remix.
