Another singer who released a blue-eyed neo Northern Soul single only last month is Jodie (Richardson) from London, who follows up "Pushover" with a song called "Treat Me Better" to be released on Friday (27 Aug 2021).  Both tracks are to be
released on limited edition 7" vinyl (250) by Original Gravity.
I've just checked the Original Gravity website
and it is stating 'out of stock' so whether that's is because it's not in
stock yet, or they have already sold out on pre-order, I don't know, but
presumably some will have gone to dealers who you may find one from?
"Treat Me Better" has a long building intro before it kicks into a bit of a stomper after
about a minute, so don't give up on it too early!
"Pushover" is quite heavily inspired by Melba Moore's "The Magic Touch".
Jodie wrote both songs during lockdown the second being based on personal
experience and observations after first going to pubs and bars.
