One for the jazz-heads. A cool and 'haunting' rendition of Bob Dylan's "All Along The
Wathchtower" blended with "Breathe" by vibes man Joe Locke and a host of
musicians: Raul Midón, KJ Denhert, Simone Pittau, Timothy Holley &
Clarence Penn.
Jimi Hendrix's 1968 version is probably the best known, released a year after
Dylan's original but you've never heard it like this before, this new version takes it to another level. The
lyrics have been changed to reflect racial injustice. This is a
masterpiece!
It's been out a few weeks now, released 18 Jun 2021, but far too good to miss. The video was released long before that on 28 Sep 2020.
