This has been out over three weeks (released 28 May 2021) and I keep
returning to it as I wasn't sure but I think there are a few good tracks
on it. It's right on the edge of neo soul/R&B.
KuchiCola (aka Nicola Charmaine Granger) is a Zimbabwean/British singer
from Johannesburg, South Africa and this will be her third album since
2019. She's also released a four track EP, but oddly, no singles.
The best tracks, for me, are "Wanna Be", "You" and "Follow"
Reading through her facebook it appears that her father was a well known
South African motivational speaker Dr Alex Granger who died on 10 Jun. So
I send my deepest condolences to her and the family at this very difficult
time.
