The Womack Sisters (BG, Zeimani and Kucha) are related to soul music royalty, the
daughters of Cecil and Linda (Womack & Womack), therefore of course, the nieces to
legendary Bobby Womack and granddaughters of Sam Cooke as Linda Womack was Sam Cooke's
daughter.
They released a debut single "Darling" in 2017 (a bit of a throwback tune) and four years later "Blocked" last Nov and followed it with "Lost For Words" in May 2022. They also featured on Binky Womack's "Vitaman B" in April 2021.
Today they have released a debut six track EP "Legacy" which contains the last two singles and a cover of Sam Cooke's classic
"A Change Is Gonna Come" on which they do a superb job, the harmonies are exquisite. For me it is the standout track as they have made a 58 year old song sound contemporary, a shame that there is no video for it (yet).
