Victoria Monét [2023] - JAGUAR II [Lovett Music / RCA Records] (Full Album)

"Jaguar II", is the new album by Victoria Monét which, naturally, follows "Jaguar" from Aug '20. Depending on who and how these things are decided, it's her second full album although she has two pairs of EPs "Nightmares & Lullabies - Act 1 & Act 2" and "Life After Love - Pt1 & Pt 2".

Since her UK chart topping single "Coastin'" in Sep '21, she's released three of her own singles (her last "Oh My Mama", "Party Girls" and "Smoke" all included on the album) and featured on another two. One with Leon Thomas a few weeks ago "Breaking Point Remix" and a Spotify only single "We Might Be Falling In Love" with Byron Tiller.

There are several new songs that stand out on first listen, "Cadillac (A Pimp's Anthem)", "How Does It Make You Feel", "I'm The One", "Stop (Askin' Me 4Shyt)", "Good Bye" and "Hollywood" which features Earth, Wind & Fire and  Hazel Monét (sister/daughter? most likely her daughter as there's a baby's voice right at the end and she gave birth to a daughter in 2021).

Leon Thomas feat. Victoria Monét [2023] - Breaking Point Remix [EZMNY Records/Motown Records]

L.A.-based, Brooklyn born, singer, songwriter, producer and actor Leon Thomas is from a musical background, his mother (Jayton Anthony) a singer, father (Leon Thomas II) an opera singer and his stepfather played guitar with B.B. King.

He emerged as a solo, artist in 2012 and has written and produced with the likes of Ariana Grande, Kehlani, J. Cole, Rick Ross, and others and received a Grammy Award for writing credits on Babyface and Toni Braxton's 2014 joint album "Love, Marriage & Divorce". He also contributed to the writing on Drake's chart topping album "Certified Lover Boy" in 2021.

Aged 10 he played Young Simba in "The Lion King" on Broadway, at 13 starred in Nickelodeon's "Victorious" and then in the HBO series "Insecure" as well as several other films and TV series.

His debut EP "Genesis" (Aug 2018) earned him a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2018 Soul Train Awards.

He released "Breaking Point" in Dec '22 which will feature on his forthcoming album "Electric Dusk". Since then he released a Spotify exclusive single with CoCo Jones in Feb and another in April.

Today he has released a remix of "Breaking Point" featuring Sacramento, CA's, Victoria Monét, who you may remember from her single "Coastin'" which was popular in Aug '21.

Victoria Monét [2023] - On My Mama [Lovett Music/RCA Records]

We remember Victoria Monét for her big UK neo soul hit "Coastin'" (which sampled Mary Jane Girls "All Night Long") posted on day of release on 5 Aug '21. 

She followed it up with a Spotify only duet with Byron Tiller on an extended (1:30) version of a track, "We Might Be Falling In Love", that was only a 51 second interlude from her 2020 album "Jaguar". However we managed to find an extended 4.19 version which we posted in Feb.

She has released a further two singles in 2023, albeit one of them with Buju Banton was reissued with a Dance Hall Remix.

Her fourth single of 2023 is "On My Mama" from a forthcoming album "Jaguar II".

Victoria Mon​é​t & Bryson Tiller [2023] - We Might Even Be Falling In Love [Spotify Single]

Victoria Mon​é​t's last single "Coastin'" from last August (posted here on day of release 5 Aug '22) did very well in the UK. 

Prior to that in 2020 she released an album titled "Jaguar" which had a 51 second interlude "We Might Even Be Falling In Love (Interlude)". A 1:30 'extended' version was released as a Spotify ONLY single on Valentines Day as a duet with Bryson Tiller which we didn't think was really worth posting as a/ it's very short and b/ it's not commercially available to download. It's her first release since "Coastin'" although technically it's streaming only.

However, we've found a 4:20 exclusive version which is commercially available to purchase (and has been since 2020).
