The Bleeding Edge - Hot New Soul Releases w/e 31st Jul 2022 (Wk 30)

As there simply aren't enough hours in the day to post even many of the shortlisted neo soul tracks found over the weekend, here's a playlist of many that didn't make the cut this weekend. Most not quite good enough, in my view, to get a full post and others perhaps just because I didn't have time, but you may find a nugget or two that you like that I have overlooked as, with listening to so many, being objective becomes more difficult and a few may have slipped through the net.

The Bleeding Edge - Hot New Soul Releases w/e 1st Apr 2022 (Wk 13)

Here's an hour long playlist of some neo / future soul tunes short-listed from the last week of March (2022 Wk 13) most of which I didn't get a chance to post as I was on a break first week of April and have been too busy catching up with this week's and last week's releases so probably won't get around to posting them. Only a few seem to have made it onto radio show playlists so far. They are not really 'bleeding edge' now but just because they are a couple of weeks old shouldn't preclude any of them from airplay!

Here's a playlist of some of the last week's short-listed releases, based on listening to short samples, which haven't made it yet to a full posting. Some are obviously better than others but I haven't had time to sift through them all to identify the best ones for posting and Friday's onslaught is approaching so will let you choose for your self!

Includes 35 tracks (2 hours of music) but is intended as a skip 'n' pick list.

The Bleeding Edge - The A List of Hot New Soul Releases w/e 19th Dec 2021

This week's playlist of the better new neo soul / R&B / urban releases.

There really isn't really anything of 'consequence' that's been released this week which I felt suitably motivated to create a separate post for. Given the time of year it's not really surprising. I've lumped anything that sounded half decent from samples into a playlist.

The 'A' List

Includes 73 minutes of music but is intended as a skip 'n' pick list.

The Bleeding Edge - The 'B' List of Hot New Soul Releases w/e 19th Dec 2021

The Bleeding Edge - The A List of Hot New Soul Releases w/e 12th Dec 2021

This week's playlist of the better new neo soul / R&B / urban releases.

Last week's bumper list of 73 tracks attracted a few comments about it being too long so I've split it into two this week: the A list and B List. Most of the A list items will have already been posted separately as it will include the better ones. The B list will be more R&B, urban and borderline tracks.

The 'A' List

Includes 2 hours of music but it's not intended to be listened to in that way it's more of a skip 'n' pick list
