Shanté (Ford) has only featured here once before with a single, "Wait.", in Aug '22.  

She released her second album, "I Chose To Keep Going", on 1 Jan this year and follows it with an excellent new single "Trial" not included on the album. It features Filipino-American producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist, Hokage Simon (Simon Ajero) from Vallejo, CA.

Shanté [2021] - Valerie [Good Compenny]

A new artist Shanté has just released, what I presume is, her debut album 'Protection' on 28 Mar 2021.  The same day this live recording of her rendition of Mark Ronson & Amy Winehouse's 'Valerie' was published on Good Compenny's YT channel so I decided to post this instead as the album is predominantly R&B, although 'Vibration' Feat LARussell isn't bad.
