LeVelle [2023] - Promise To Love [SoNo Recording Group] (Full Album)

Having drip fed three singles from LeVelle's sophomore album "Promise To Love"  ("Only If" (Mar '23) , "What Love Sounds Like" and "Work It Out" last month) the full album was released on Friday (9 Jun '23).

Included on the album is the remix of our favourite song from him, "Fell In Love" with Anthony Hamilton, taken from his debut album "My Journey Continues" which was pre-released as a single in Mar '22. If you haven't already, we recommend checking out the original mix of the song (music video below) which was one of our end of year selections in 2021 and still sounds great.

The new album is a solid set, without having any major standouts amongst the new songs, but our pick is "Always" with After 7.

LeVelle [2023] - Only If [Sono Recording Group] MUSIC VIDEO

We were first introduced to Kansa City's Chester LeVelle Browning (aka LB) in Sep 2021 with his single "Fell In Love" featuring Anthony Hamilton which was one of our picks of the year. In March last year a music video was produced for the song which coincided with the release of the Remix of it. We haven't posted the video before, so will take this opportunity to remind you how good it is or if you haven't heard it, introduce you to it.

He released his debut album "My Journey Continues" last April from which two singles were pre-released. His first new material since then is the single "Only If" last Friday (`7 Mar) which was posted but at that the time music video for it was not available so have now included it below.

LeVelle spent may years as a background vocalist for the likes of Anthony Hamilton and Charlie Wilson and decided to step into the spotlight himself. Just before the Covid pandemic in 2020 he was touring with  Frankie Beverly & Maze.

LeVelle [2022] - My Journey Continues [The SoNo Recording Group]

LeVelle (Browning) (aka LB) is from Kansa City and is progressing from being a background vocalist for many years into the spotlight. He has supported several artists including Charlie Wilson, Anthony Hamilton and many others, and toured with Frankie Beverly & Maze just before the pandemic hit.

He released his debut album "My Journey Continues" today (22 Apr 2022) which includes two versions on "Fell In Love" with Anthony Hamilton both released as singles plus two singles released before then ("Incredible Woman" and "Why") and two released afterwards to promote the album ("Just For Me" and "Don't Play With Love").

My liking for "Fell In Love" has been well documented and "Incredible Woman" is a great track but, of the new material, I think "Karma", "Just Me" and "Right Way" would be my picks.
