Kara Marni [2021] - 2nd Nature [Access Records]

There's no need to introduce Kara Marni (Antonia Karamani) as her last two singles from earlier this year ("Twisted Fantasy" and "Trippin") have already been posted.

Kara Marni [2021] - Twisted Fantasy [Access Records]

Kara Marni (Antonia Karamani) is a 23 year old R&B singer from London. She debuted in 2017 and has released two albums and around 15-20 singles.

A couple of her early singles were covers, Sade's 'No Ordinary Love', Angie Stone's 'I Wish I Didn't Miss You', both in 2017 and an acoustic version of Randy Crawford's 'You Might Need Somebody' in 2019. One of the versions of her 2018 single 'Curve' samples/covers 'Spooky'.

Her latest single was released 30 Apr 2021 and is probably best described as soulful R&B/ broken beats. It's her second release this year and follows 'Trippin' (Tripped Out Soul Mix) posted in Feb.

Kara Marni [2021] -Trippin (Tripped Out Soul Mix) [Access]

I reviewed this a few weeks ago when released (15 Jan 2021) and dismissed it as too R&B sounding, but it sounds much better now as the 'Tripped Out Soul Mix' released 5 Feb 2021.

An upcoming UK R&B artist, she debuted in 2018 with an EP 'Love Just ain't Enough'.
