Gwen Yvette [2021] - Neither One Of Us [Music Is Love Unlimited]

Gwen Yvette released a very good three track EP of deep soul ballads "BS With Love" which I posted last week. 

Each week I post The Dirty Dozen on my facebook (which featured "Sorry" and also "Neither One Of Us" on the covers DD) and tag the artists just to let them know that their music is appreciated. Gwen responded graciously and I've just discovered that she recorded "Neither One Of Us" live in 2012 and posted the video on her YT channel so I though it was worth sharing. 

Whilst here, a video I've already posted but still sticks in my mind as it's a stunning version, is a YT unreleased version by Kry$tal Kleer which was posted two years ago and now has almost a million views.

As if by 'magic', she also has a live version of another Gladys Knight & The Pips song "You're Number 1 In My Book", covered earlier this year by Michon Young.

Gwen Yvette [2021] - BS with Love [Music Is Love Unlimited] (Full EP)

A new EP "BS with Love" from Gwen Yvette McKinnon which features three deep soul cuts including a cover of Gladys Knight & The Pips classic was released 28 May 2021.

She was born in Harlem, NY, to parents from St Helena and now lives in Beaufort, SC, and has been singing professionally since the early 90s. In 2012 she appeared on The X Factor and released her debut album 'So In Love' in 2016 and followed it with "Love, Dreams & Visions" in 2017.

She recently featured on Trusoul Davis's "Soul Fiyah" album on the track "More Than Friends".
