Full Flava Feat. CeCe Peniston [2022] - For My Baby (JKriv Remix) [Dome]

A track from Full Flava that has been around on Traxsource for a few weeks gets a wider release today (19 Aug 2022).  Joining Full Flava is CeCe Peniston on "For My Baby" which has been now given a seriously funky 2022 rework by JKriv.

Brooklyn-based JKriv is the the original bass player with Tortured Soul and is now very successful producer/remixer and owner of the Razor-N-Tape label. He reworked their "Music Is My Way Of Life" last year delivering a stellar soulful house mix which hit #2 on the Traxsource Top 100.

The song is co-written by Full Flava producers Rob Derbyshire and Paul Mullings and originally released in 2002 (included below) with the new version upping the tempo by around 24% from 95 to 118 BPM.

CeCe Peniston [2021] - I'm Feelin' U (Remixes) [Soulfuric Recordings]

A remix of CeCe Peniston's 2007 track 'I'm Feelin' U' was released with six mixes, three short versions and three extended versions. The best mix, for me is the 'T.Markakis Class 'N' Groove Mix' but I'll include all.

Cecilia Veronica Peniston was born in Dayton, OH in 1970, but spent her formative years in Phoenix, AZ. She rose to fame in the 90s with many club/dance hits including, of course, her first and biggest hit, 'Finally' in 1991.
