30/70 [2023] - Art Make Love [Energy Exchange Records] (Full Album)

30/70 is a collective of ten musicians from the vibrant neo soul scene in Melbourne featuring Allysha Joy on lead vocals. Their catalogue goes back to 2014 with four studio, a remixed, and one live album under their belt along with around half a dozen singles and an EP.

They released their fifth album "Art Make Love" on Friday (17 Feb '23) from which they released the lead single "ALL 4U" last Oct and the next single  "ACCEPTANCE" on 17 Jan.

As with a lot of Allysha Joy's material, it is a bit futuristic and 'out there' but "Joy Luv" I guess will have broader appeal.

At present I can't seem to find it available digitally on Amazon but there are vinyl copies (£38.85). Digital copies available on Bandcamp.

Although they are Melbourne based, their material since 2017 has been released on Peckham (South London) based Rhythm Section International records run by Bradley Zero. However, their 2022 releases have been on Berlin based Energy Exchange Records set up this year. Their latest single "ACCEPTANCE" being released on 17 Jan '23.

In a post last week (for Zac Robertson) I mentioned how vibrant the neo soul scene in Melbourne was and here's yet another Melbourne artist 30/70 with a new single released 30 Jun 2021 which comes in two sizes, a full length 9:09 and a 3:11 radio edit.

Their catalogue goes back to 2014 with four studio, and one live, album under their belt along with around half a dozen singles. They are a collective of ten musicians with Allysha Joy on lead vocals.

Although they are Melbourne based, their material since 2017 has been released on Peckam (South London) based Rhythm Section International records run by Bradley Zero.
