Antony Carter, aka Antone, is from the south side of Chicago and grew up singing in an A Cappella
church choir led by his father. He learned piano aged five and later the
trumpet, drums and saxophone. He started writing, recording, and producing
his own music at high school in the 80s.
He is a member of gospel group The United Quintet of Chicago.
This year he's released four solo singles with high school friend Steve Miggedy
Maestro (aka Morttimer Snerd III who released "Katfish" on Friday). Since the single featured here, "At First Sight
", on 28 Jul he's released another, "For Love" on Friday (18 Aug).
