Out digitally yesterday and available on 7" vinyl with an instrumental flip on 24 Jul is "My Only" by Nova Vida feat. KLEI.
It's a debut singe from a new Chris Bangs project Nova Vida released on his BDQ Records and an 11 track album "A Song For Everyone" is due in Spring 2024.
The vocal version of the single features Brazilian singer KLEI with Argentinian guitarist FERMIN on the instrumental. So no prizes for guessing that it's a Latin affair, a Brazilian samba.
A snippet of the song was featured on the 1997 movie "As Good As It Gets" sung by French singer Danielle Brisebois. It was only 1:47 and we can't find it anywhere apart from the soundtrack, but there is a 'full' 3:28 version on YouTube from 'somewhere' unless it's been spliced and extended from the soundtrack?
