Two albums have been released today by Loyola University New Orleans, "4 The Culture Vol. 1: Gold Edition (R&B)" and "4 The Culture Vol. 1: Maroon Edition (Hip-Hop)" which should be self explanatory. i.e. one R&B and the other
Hip-Hop.
Loyal University runs the first, and only, 'Bachelor of Science in Hip Hop and R&B' course so we presume these are
members of the course. This, apparently, is the first instalment of an annual series.
We weren't expecting a great deal but decided to give it a spin and were
pleasantly surprised with the R&B volume which has several good
tracks.
Our picks on first listen being "Get Our Groove On (G.O.G.O)" feat. Shelby, "SABRINA!" feat. Aniya Teno and "All I Needed" feat. Kennadi Rose
