We first featured Cut Capers, a 9-piece, horn led, band from Bristol, last month
with their excellent single "On The Way Up" which was their first release since Feb 2020.
A second, very Latin style single, "Medina", has been released from their forthcoming album "Sightseeing & Short Negotiations" due on 29 Sep.
The band describe it as "Balkan-leaning horn heavy epic. Blasting angular melodies and anthemic vocal refrains, the track takes inspiration from Santana, Gogol Bordello and The Cat Empire". Any the wiser? As we aren't.
We're not really feeling this one in comparison but let's
wait to see what the album has to offer as this is a bit of a radical
departure.
