We featured Maiiah & the Angels of Libra in Oct '22
with a release that bundled all three singles to date "No No No (I'm so Broke)", "Sunshine" and "Obey".
She and the Hamburg band Angels Of Libra are back with a new single
which is a cover of Barbara Lynn's "I'm A Good Woman" (Tribe Records 1966) which is officially released on Friday (30 Jun
'23).
Try as we might we were unable to find a great deal of information about Maiiah
except that we believe she is from Düsseldorf and has been a member of a number of groups in the past such
as The Jump Blues Syndicate, Maiiah & The Rhythm n Shake and Tortugas.
She is also recording an album and is asking for crowd funding to help
finance it (video below NB you will need to set CC caption on for English
translation if you do not speak German).
