A storming new digital release from DeRobert & The Half-Truths
with a vocal and instrumental G.E.D. Soul Version of "Judgement". It is very reminiscent of James Brown / Gene Chandler "There Was A
Time".
It's in line with their single "100 Yard Dash" released almost two years ago in Apr '21 which the followed with an
album of the same name
in Jun that year.
It's the Nashville, TN, based group's first release for almost a year
since "Just Friends" in April last year.
The single has already been released on 7" vinyl by Colemine in 2018 and
on a compilation "Colemine Breaks" in Sep '21 but I assume with the sub title that this is a new mix as
the tempo has been upped from 158 to 162. Original included below for comparison.
