It's probably no surprise after listening to the new single from Keisha Martin to discover that the NYC based singer/songwriter originally hails from Jamaica. Her latest single, "BEST PART", with Maurice Gregory has been floating around on promo for a few weeks and was eventually released on 13 Feb '23.
Gregory is a Grammy winning and twice nominated singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist producer who has worked with the likes of Shaggy, Beenieman, Julian Marley, Morgan Heritage, The Skatalites, Thirdworld, Freddie McGregor, Heather Headley, Diana King and has been a member of Third World for the last ten years.
Keisha in turn has shared stages with Black Uhuru, Melisa Morgan, Gerald Alston, Marcia Griffiths, Maxi Priest, Shaggy, Kymani Marley and many others.
