Davey H's (aka David Humphrey) debut release for Six Nine Records is "Keep Movin'", we are told. caused lots of buzz after he put it up on his own Bandcamp
page last this summer! He also released a Yuki Takahashi "T-Groove UK Remix".
His latest single "Just The Way U R" has been around a couple of
weeks, released 30 Dec '22, which we haven't got around to post yet, so
here it is.
Davey H is a former drummer for Public Image Ltd (PiL) formed by
Johnny "Rotten" Lydon following the break up of the Sex Pistols in
1978. Davey has also worked as a session drummer for Sparks and Mike
Oldfield. He founded the group Reflex in 1981 who released the
single "Funny Situation", which was reissued last year.
He has now begun to compose and produce his own material with an
80s dance vibe which is what he says he loves best.
