Lacee (Lacy Yvonne Reed) is from Memphis, TN, where she started singing in
church with her mother and eventually released her debut album "Songstress"
in 2006 which aided her winning the International Female Vocalist of the
Year Award at Mississippi's Jackson Music Awards.
She signed to Advantage Recordings and released "Lacee's Groove" (2009),
"Soulful" (2011), "Christmas With Lacee" (2012), "Beautiful" (2015) and
"Mind Gone" (2017).
I'm sorry to say that this really isn't my kinda thing, but appreciate that many like this kind of Southern Soul, especially as it is #6 this morning on Amazon Hot New Releases!
