Buttered are duo Scott Dalton and Jackson James formed in
Coolangatta, Queensland (Australia) in 2020. They have released their
second EP "Feel The Way" yesterday (27 May 2022) which they say marks the beginning
of work on their debut album due in June.
All songs are co-written by Dalton & James who state that they are
inspired by Stevie Wonder which might give you an inkling of what to
expect from the EP i.e. retro blue-eyed soul which draws parallels with
Mamas Gun style-wise.
The six track EP contains their last four singles "Reborn" (Jan 2022), "Fat Heart" (Aug 2021), "It Don't Matter" (Jul 2021) and "Love" (Jun 2021) along with one new, reggae flavoured, song "Feel This Way" and an interlude.
