Latrese Bush from Bluffton, SC, has backed Jennifer Holliday,
Gloria Gaynor, Bobby V and Justin Bieber, co-written songs Alvin Garrett
("Walk It Out" for gospel group Virtue) and recorded with The BarKays, Bob
Baldwin, Joey Sommerville and others, and made her acting debut in "The
Fighting Temptations" which starred Beyonce and Cuba Gooding Jr (who's father
of course was lead singer of The Main Ingredient before going solo in
1978).
She had a soul chart hit in the UK in 2016 with "Love I Can Sing About"
written by Grammy Nominated Alvin Garrett and R&B star Ruben Studdard
which still sounds fresh so I've also included it below to remind you how good it is.
She is back with her fist release for almost four years with a single "Caffeine" released 11 Mar 2022.
